Ruthie's Holiday Outfit (AGPS Nov, 2018)

Hello loves. Sorry this week's post is a few days late. Monday didn't really click as Monday! We're going to start the Holiday posts off a little bit with today. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so why not? In August I found Ruthie's holiday outfit almost complete for a really good price. So this year, Ruthie-Lila actually has her holiday dress, instead of the repro she's been wearing! I went to one of my favourite Antique shops to take these pictures. It seemed fitting since the house is from the 1930s. Enjoy!
This is one of my favourite pictures from this shoot.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving tomorrow.
What was your favourite picture?
Do you like antique shopping?
Have you started getting ready for Christmas yet?

Kanani post, (Our Generation 'You can ukulele' set review)

Aloha everyone! Ania here today to show you an awesome Our Generation set Lu got me for Christmas. I've been waiting for summer to come to show you what it is though. Let's begin.

Here's what the set includes; one record, one sheet of stickers, a book of chords and the tiffany blue ukulele.
The stickers are really cute, I think I'll give them to Kit for her birthday though.

The chords in the booklet are accurate, I asked Lu's sister.

I love the heart detailing on the pegs!

Well thank you for reading my post, I hope this review was helpful, overall I'd give it a 4 1/2 out of 5; just because the instrument is a bit hard to use. But hey, musicians do what it takes to play the instruments we love. If you would like to find this set, look at target, or, here's a link to the website. The price usually ranges from seven dollars to five-ish, if I'm correct.

I can't wait for summer break to begin, just a few more short weeks before exams. If you'd like, you can comment down below, if you'd like to see more posts from us dolls, if you have any plans for summer break, and what your favourite picture was.

A hui kaua (Until we meet again)
Aloha my dears!

Christmas is Almost Here!!!

Twas the twentieth of December, and all through the house whispers were sounding about a blog post...
Hullo everyone! Happy Holidays, Dollidays and Early Merry Christmas.
We're going to jump to the point today...the Halloween post isn't up.
So let's face it, I have a terrible case of the procrastination-stuff; pushing that away, I am going to try my very best to get some pictures up, they will more than likely not have descriptions. Blogging is just so much work sometimes, and since I am "Busy" well, not really busy...just lazy and wasting time. But, hey school is out for two weeks starting this weekend. Let's get Merry!

Today we'll just more-or-less have a picture dump/what's been going on around the house...thing. Enjoy!

Life lately:
School.
School this year has been different, not in a bad way...just different. A lot more reading then I'm use to, and loads of maths. Algebra, why you so mean to me? My mind cannot grasp it long enough to remember how to do all this hard stuff. I've been told it gets worse. -_- Calculators, decaf-tea and erasable markers/pens are life savers.
Composition could be worse, but it is still challenging. I have trouble sometimes figuring out what my teacher actually wants from me, besides what I want to write. So yeah, school's been interesting.
But hey! Thursday was our last day of class for the year and now...I'm off for two weeks!
BTW, That's Rory(on the left) and the Doctor on the right.
Bow-ties are cool!
:D
It's the most wonderful time of the year....
There have been a lot of packages that I haven't been able to see rushed back to mum's room for several weeks now. But finally I was able to help wrap some gifts.
I love the satisfaction of setting a wrapped present underneath the tree.

Christmas cards have been flying in.
Cats have been taking long naps, and then biting fingers.
Sylvie is getting very big, she's almost completely caught up with my eight year old cat, Annie. It's a little scary, seeing as Sylvie is much more 'bunctious, and still a very much kitten.
Rebecca's been helping decorate a little bit.
If you would like to watch some videos from my youtube, you can find that Here.

Last week we had our Christmas Concert of the year, "Christmas Wishes."
Here are a few pictures, if you would like to hear the concert...It can be found here.
"White Christmas"
"Sisters"

Other than that,  we've just been getting excited for Christmas, feeling bad about not blogging, and working on Christmas gifts. So yeah, life's pretty good. Break truly begins tomorrow along with Winter. Unfortunately, it is believed that we've just finished our last cold day of the year today. Would somebody please teach the weather what order the seasons come in, again? :D
I'm going to be off to go take some pictures, hopefully and decorate my room for Christmas!
Thank you for stopping by and reading my rambles.
More posts to come soon enough!

Merry Christmas and Happy Dollidays!
~Lu

P. S.  The song last time was Fight Song, by Rachel Platten.
The New Lyrics are:
Christmas band, Christmas band
You're waiting for me with your Christmas band
Cymbal and drum, rattle and hum
March out your Christmas band.

Good luck, comment down below.

Christmas Eve 2014...and an introduction!

Let me apologise, yet again! This post is what, a week late? I am so very sorry everyone! This isn't even a very long post, I'm just so lazy that is why it took so long to get it up. But I hope you can enjoy this post about our little Christmas eve.
Just a quick flashback to last year's New Year's Eve, our family has grown so much since then! Onto the post! Buckle up, I'm going to try to make it quick!
One of my cousins was quite determined to play with my extra violin...he was pretty good at holding it...a bit big, but he'll get there. ;)

I know normally I post a lot of pictures from the actual event...but, I didn't take very many pictures, so we'll skip over to what I got!
I was handed this rather large box, it was about the size of an AG box--but it was bigger, it kind of confused me. but when I opened it up, I understood.
inside was a box (Duh) With Caroline's accessories in it. They are adorable, just so you know.
after that there was a bigger box, that was also pink. With Little Miss Caroline in it.....
There it is.
She is gorgeous, I love her so much! Thanks Mawmaw and Pawpaw for the amazing gift!
Now onto what the Dollies think!
Once I got home, with Kit. (Did I mention that I brought Kit with me to Mawmaw's house?)
The girls were gathered around chattering about what the Redhead might have gotten, they knew tonight was usually a big night, and wanted to see the long awaited surprise last year it had been Saige.
"Look! Here comes Kit now!"
"Kit!"
"Hi girls,"
"What's wrong Kit?"
Kit joined the circle, and then Ruthie asked the question.
"What did the Redhead get?"
Kit was quiet for a second before answering, "You'll see. You can come on out now."
She said calling over in the direction of the dining room.
A girl in a pink dress, with a bonnet on her head over her long golden locks of curls, stepped into view. the girls' mouths dropped,
"No way--"
"Hi." spoke the girl softly, looking at the circle of girls.

"Girls, may I introduce Caroline. Lu's newest dollie."
"Woah--"
"Hullo, I'm Caroline Rose." Said the girl, getting up her courage.
"Lovely to meet you, Caroline. I'm Kanani, this is Saige." spoke Ania nodding over to Saige, who was standing next to her.
"Hi.You all ready met Kit, that's Marie." she pointed onto the next couple of sisters.
"Hiya, I like your dress."
"I'm Felicity but you can call me Lissie."
"And I'm Ruthie!"

Woah--seven introductions...

New family picture!

Mum surprised me with another box after we got home, that came in earlier that day.

More on that a bit later,
I know you want more details on Miss Caroline! So let's go!
Here are her curls...they are sooo pretty!
Her gorgeous eyes.
Meet dress.
Dress and shoes.

And now, onto her holiday gown!
Her satin gloves are simply...beautiful.  One of the gloves was harder to get on than the other, I'm not sure why. But these are really nice quality except for that small fact, they feel like a really this satin. Just like the gloves I wear when I go to dances.
Her headband, (sorry it is a bit blurry)
Here's a better picture. I had to cut the tag so that it wouldn't get in the way.
(Before the tag was cut)

This is the little broach-belt thingy, really a sweet addition.
The adorable shoes! I think this might be one of my favourite parts of the outfit.

Catie did my hair.... :D
New family picture!

Another addition to our little dollie family, is mini Kit!

pretty eyes, her cute hair clip.
and the dress!
her sweet Mary-Jane's.
Kit is still trying to think of a name for her new dollie, we'll keep ya updated.
Time for Christmas pictures!!!
Miss Kit,
Little Saige,
Kanani,
Ruthie,
Felicity,
Marie
and of course....
Caroline!
Kanani gave Caroline her dollie, so now Caroline has a little Caroline to name.

Let's move onto Caroline's accessories

Her top,
Her reticule,
It is so cute with her name and year she got it.
The flowers on her bonnet.
The ribbon on the bonnet.
Also! in the box with Caroline--came these paper dolls.

Here is the book that came with mini Kit.

and here's the box in case anyone wanted to see it.

All right! So there is our post, We will get the Christmas Day post up soon I hope,
Hope you enjoyed,
Happy late New Year!
