(AGPS+Doll-Bedroom-Tour) Ada & Grace's Room (05-25-17)

I have noticed over the past few years that generally, my favourite dollie photo-shoots are ones with flowers, adventures (educational, or not), props, or in doll-rooms. With that in mind, I'm still trying to find the best way to light my dollhouse so that it is practical to take pictures in there. This is another attempt, and I think they came out 6/10, which means I'm getting better. I hope you enjoy this quick tour of one of the doll-bedrooms. :)
Overview. Grace-Ellen, and Ada-Freya share this room. It's at the top left corner of my dollhouse-closet.
Here we have a little dollhouse shelf that we found at Target for 3$ last autumn, everything on the shelf are just various finds from over the years to reflect the two different girls' personality. =)
Behind their bed hangs a piece of Scrapbook paper that I found at Hobby Lobby for 2$, next to it hangs their calendar, and a place to write little notes and reminders for each other.
Here we have a peter-pan figurine, Blue bottle, cinderella magnet, green garden gnome, Grace's mini meet book, and a friendship polaroid.
Next to Ada's side of the bed, we have a pink-heart-backpack, and on the wall hangs a poster.
"Where should we go next?"
#Cutie. =)
Pillow fight!
Thank you for following us along on this little tour. I hope it maybe inspired you. Do any of your dolls share a room? Which state do you want to mark off of your wandering list next?

Dollie Fun Finds with Kit! (Target Edition, April 2016)

Hullo Peeps! Kit here with another Fun Finds for us Dolls!
Let's get started.
Early April, while Lu was at Target, she found some really cute things, (actually only two things this time). For us Dollies and she said that I could show you!
Here are the items!
Pack of Erasers, and a Memory-board.

The Erasers are shaped as Popsicles, perfect for us dollies. They're in four colours, Pink, Red, Green and Brown.

So cute and very tasty!
Alright, now I'm gonna let Lu talk to you about this find.
So, for Kit's bedroom, I have been wanting to make a "Pinterest-y" photo-board, you knowww the ones that have fairy lights and polaroid pictures.
Plus je passe du temps sur Pinterest et plus j’ai l’impression de n’avoir rien à me mettre, pas vous ?:
Well, I finally attempted...using yarn; and it would have worked--however, the little clothespins that I was trying to use were not liking working with the thick yarn, plus it looked very home-made; which did not go well with Kit's room's style. So when I saw this in the dollar section again, I had to get it to see if it would work.
Here's the label.
I got the hot pink, however there was also a pale green and an electric blue one. It came with four chunky clothespins on two little rods (I'm not sure what the rods are made of).
It is very bright in that corner, but that is what it looks like before pictures are on it.

Now, for this to work--I need pictures. I've seen similar things done on other blogs and now we're going to try it. If you would like to send in a picture of your dolls in Polaroid form, (18" doll size of course), leave a separate comment down below that I will not publish with your email address, after receiving this comment I will email you and delete the comment. Once I've emailed you, you can reply with your picture. I will print them out and post a final picture here. This is going to be apart of Kit's birthday present, so I really need them in by the 19th...but if it is late, that's okay too.
I can't wait to see your pictures!
Back to you Kit.

Thanks Lu! Well that is all dearies, there should be a new post up, at least by next week...and maybe even an announcement, we're not sure.
Thanks for reading my little post.
Have you had any fun finds recently? For you or dollsize.
When is school over for you?

Keep going, you're doing great!

Christmas is Almost Here!!!

Twas the twentieth of December, and all through the house whispers were sounding about a blog post...
Hullo everyone! Happy Holidays, Dollidays and Early Merry Christmas.
We're going to jump to the point today...the Halloween post isn't up.
So let's face it, I have a terrible case of the procrastination-stuff; pushing that away, I am going to try my very best to get some pictures up, they will more than likely not have descriptions. Blogging is just so much work sometimes, and since I am "Busy" well, not really busy...just lazy and wasting time. But, hey school is out for two weeks starting this weekend. Let's get Merry!

Today we'll just more-or-less have a picture dump/what's been going on around the house...thing. Enjoy!

Life lately:
School.
School this year has been different, not in a bad way...just different. A lot more reading then I'm use to, and loads of maths. Algebra, why you so mean to me? My mind cannot grasp it long enough to remember how to do all this hard stuff. I've been told it gets worse. -_- Calculators, decaf-tea and erasable markers/pens are life savers.
Composition could be worse, but it is still challenging. I have trouble sometimes figuring out what my teacher actually wants from me, besides what I want to write. So yeah, school's been interesting.
But hey! Thursday was our last day of class for the year and now...I'm off for two weeks!
BTW, That's Rory(on the left) and the Doctor on the right.
Bow-ties are cool!
:D
It's the most wonderful time of the year....
There have been a lot of packages that I haven't been able to see rushed back to mum's room for several weeks now. But finally I was able to help wrap some gifts.
I love the satisfaction of setting a wrapped present underneath the tree.

Christmas cards have been flying in.
Cats have been taking long naps, and then biting fingers.
Sylvie is getting very big, she's almost completely caught up with my eight year old cat, Annie. It's a little scary, seeing as Sylvie is much more 'bunctious, and still a very much kitten.
Rebecca's been helping decorate a little bit.
If you would like to watch some videos from my youtube, you can find that Here.

Last week we had our Christmas Concert of the year, "Christmas Wishes."
Here are a few pictures, if you would like to hear the concert...It can be found here.
"White Christmas"
"Sisters"

Other than that,  we've just been getting excited for Christmas, feeling bad about not blogging, and working on Christmas gifts. So yeah, life's pretty good. Break truly begins tomorrow along with Winter. Unfortunately, it is believed that we've just finished our last cold day of the year today. Would somebody please teach the weather what order the seasons come in, again? :D
I'm going to be off to go take some pictures, hopefully and decorate my room for Christmas!
Thank you for stopping by and reading my rambles.
More posts to come soon enough!

Merry Christmas and Happy Dollidays!
~Lu

P. S.  The song last time was Fight Song, by Rachel Platten.
The New Lyrics are:
Christmas band, Christmas band
You're waiting for me with your Christmas band
Cymbal and drum, rattle and hum
March out your Christmas band.

Good luck, comment down below.

Fun finds, June 2015 with Kit!

Hullo lovelies!
This month I had a lot of good mini AG size finds, and instead of showering you guys with random mini find posts, I decided to hold everything until the end of the month and put them all into one bigger one. :D Do you like the idea of doing this better or not? The only thing that I thought of that could not be good about it is you might not be able to find these things depending on when stores re-stock. So yeah, let me know what you think!
Today we're joined with Miss Kit for our June finds.
This first one is from Goodwill,
It's a dollhouse scale desk and chair. These were a bit expensive for Goodwill, but since they are plastic and in pretty good shape, we picked them up anyway!
They were two dollars each.
Here's just the chair, it has a yellow fabric cushion, and little arms and a prettily decorative design carved(kinda) on the back.

The paint is chipped in a few places, bit that could be fixed.
The table has a drawer that pulls out with two little knobs.

It is shallow, but I bet you could fit a good bit in it.
Onto things that I found at Michael's!
I had wandered about Michael's looking for decorative boxes when I came across a 50 cent clearance bin. Here's what I found.
This easel I picked up with Saige in mind, although she already has a lot of easels, this set came with thin canvass instead of one thick one, it came with three thin ones.
I thought these small pictures frames were so cute, I'm not sure what I'll end up doing with them. :D
The last doll-size thing I got was...
yes a lipstick case. At first I wasn't sure what this was, until I flipped it over. But I thought it would make an awesome handbag for the girls,
(Picture taken from Google)
I tried it, and with a little bit of work it would definitely work for that, so you might want to check that out if your dolls like dressing up :)
So that was all for that day, onto the next!
The next two items were found at Target
Laugh if you want to...yes I bought my little ponies for my dolls. My excuse was that they were for Kanani's B-day (Which I didn't actually end up doing a party) But really they were just so stinkin' cute to pass up. My sister has been watching My Little Pony recently, but we couldn't figure out which two I got,
Pony number one,
and number two.
They both came with play scenes, unfortunately they were the same ones.
She has little green marks on her, which is strange because I don't think they were there in the store. I left her in her packaging for a few days after I got her home. I don't know what could have happened to her in the packaging! But she's still cute.

I thought that her sign kind of looks like a Hibiscus although, I'm pretty sure it is some sort of Lily.

Pretty pink eyes.

I like how they have different standing positions.

Play-scene.
Third find group's itesms are from  Walmart, I found these two days ago, so keep your eyes open! :)
I found six doll things at Walmart.
First item is the Hershey's Chocolate syrup (Lip-gloss)
I saw this on American Girl Fan about two years ago. I have been searching for it ever since, I had seen the Strawberry one before, but who wants Strawberry syrup?(Sorry to all of you out there who might like it) I don't personally care for it. So when I saw this hanging there, I grabbed it. It was two dollars and it was in the make-up section over by the little girl stuff and the make-up brushes. I am very glad I got it!
let's open it!
Here's a closer look at the packaging before it is open.
and once it is out! It is so cute, the label is so detailed and adorable.
Sorry the camera didn't want to focus without the flash.
That's slightly better? haha idk, it basically just has ingredients for the lip-gloss and whatnot.
There's Kit with it for a scale idea. Super cute! I would definitely recommend this if you can find it. :)
Second item are these glasses from My Life  (Walmart's 18" doll line)
It comes with a pair of sunglasses and swim-goggles

Sunglasses, they're pink with blue filtery-things
and the goggles! These are soo cute.
the band goes easily over her head, and they rest nicely on her nose. Just like swim goggles should.

Another this that I found was this fabric, It was 1.50 per yard, and the flowers were the perfect scale for doll clothing. I got half of a yard, we'll see what we can make.
here's just a look at it,
It's super cute!
And my last item tonight is something that is easy to find, I found them in the garden-centre

It was about one dollar for each set, these'll be awesome for a photo-story/shoot!
That's it! Thanks for looking at this post, and I'm sorry for the delay on trip-posts, It is a lot of work getting them edited and published, but I promise, that they will be done, hopefully finished by the end of this month. We've been very busy lately, on Tuesday we sang at a church down the road from where we live, so practising and getting ready for that took a good bit of time.  I have also been working on my dollhouse, I'm nearly finished! I can't wait to show you all the finished product.
Also, tomorrow(Or maybe today, depending on time zones) I am taking Kanani, we're going up to Mississippi for the weekend. I'll taking pictures there so that will be another post to add to the queue of posts. :) If I don't get busy soon I'll have enough backed up to cover a block! eheheh...yeah. Anywho!
I hope you enjoyed this post, comment down below your favourite find, or if you've found any awesome finds recently!
Happy first day of July & Humpday!
Have a lovely night!
