Ruthie's Holiday Outfit (AGPS Nov, 2018)

Hello loves. Sorry this week's post is a few days late. Monday didn't really click as Monday! We're going to start the Holiday posts off a little bit with today. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so why not? In August I found Ruthie's holiday outfit almost complete for a really good price. So this year, Ruthie-Lila actually has her holiday dress, instead of the repro she's been wearing! I went to one of my favourite Antique shops to take these pictures. It seemed fitting since the house is from the 1930s. Enjoy!
This is one of my favourite pictures from this shoot.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving tomorrow.
What was your favourite picture?
Do you like antique shopping?
Have you started getting ready for Christmas yet?

Marie's American Girl Nightgown (AGPS-July, 17th, 2018)

I'm discovering recently that I have a love for AG pj sets. How do I know this? Because all of my dolls have pjs, and yet I keep finding more that I want. Do dolls need multiple pj sets each? That's the dilemma here, what do you think?
Anyway, this summer my Mum found Marie Grace's original nightgown and slippers on eBay for a reasonable price, so I was given them as an early birthday present. I love this set a lot more than I was expecting to, I'm slowly trying to get all of Marie's items, because her collection is small and beautiful, so I was very glad to add this set. Let's have a closer look.
The slippers are a delicious mint green, and very well structured. There's a slight heel, more so than regular AG shoes.
I love this picture. Don't her eyes just look beautiful?
Looking for Wonderland.
Of course I couldn't get her pjs and resist the urge to set her up a period style bedroom. Makeshift, because my dollhouse still isn't set up after moving, but still!

I love this picture! I couldn't find all of the accessories I wanted to use for this setup, but it turned out well anyway.
In case you were wondering, the bed is Addy's, I got it last October while I had the flu and hadn't used it until this set-up. I'm wondering if Addy will have her own room in the new house or continue to share with Grace, what do you think?

 "What Lu?!"
What did you think of this photo-shoot? Is there a doll's collection that you're trying to get all of?
Thanks for stopping by!
I'll see you next Monday! I'd love to hear how you're doing in the comments, I'll do my best to respond.

London Girls and Kit in Pink (08-17-17)

I've been feeling a little down today, so I thought I'd try to cheer myself up with a blog post while multi tasking on getting homework done. So today's post is a variety of pictures that were taken on my birthday last month.
For my birthday, my dear friend in England made me a dress, which arrived a few days before so we would have time to put the trims and fastenings on it before my birthday. Unfortunately, we got the wrong trimming the first time. Luckily, Mum had bought me some fabric a while ago to make me a skirt out of, so somehow she managed to whip up a skirt in like three hours. (There will be another post featuring the dress, don't worry.)
Isn't it adorable fabric? It's all three of us girls on a London setting. It would only be better is there was a black kitty cat. :)
The fabric came from HobbyLobby, and is from the brand BrotherSister.
On the way home from dropping my sister off at uni, Mr Egret posed on the side of the road for me to take his picture. He was very funny. =)
August 17th, is also, of course, Black Cat Appreciation Day, so Kit made sure Licorice got enough attention.
Can you believe that this was Kit's ninth birthday spent with me?

And a sneak peek for a new series of posts--My big birthday present this year!
There will be four posts at some point--reviewing these sets ^
Thanks for stopping by. Would you be interested if I began making similar posts to these, with pictures of me--sometimes with dolls, sometimes not? It's just an idea. =)
Here's to a brighter tomorrow. Also, if you're in the path of hurricane Irma, know that I'm praying for you, and I hope you're alright through the thick of it.

REVIEW: Addy's Pleasant Company (First Edition) Meet Dress-1993

Hullo ducklings! How are you? I do hope you said good or well. I know it's the time of year for people, even as lovely as all 40 of you, to get sick. I hope none of you have fallen there, and if you have, I hope you get better quickly. As one of you asked in my last post about Ada, whether I had gotten any of her outfits--well, I'm here to show you another incredible find.
After I had gotten Addy, I began looking for PC outfits on Ebay and Etsy, I wasn't sure which outfit of hers I wanted the most, so I just looked for any of them that was a reasonable price, not wanting to invest too much into an outfit, since my Addy was already sharing clothes with my other dollies. The idea is/was to keep her collection, if possible, as Pleasant Company as possible.
One Tuesday morning, my mum showed me an auction she had found for Addy's meet dress and boots. It didn't say whether it was PC or not, but there was hope. And since it would have been an arm and leg to get Addy's boots later on, (did you know that AG use to sell just a set of black boots and three pairs of socks for Addy for 18$? Don't you wish they still did that?)
So we won that auction for, I want to say 21-ish dollars. Let me show you the gems.
Oh, I forgot to mention it included a hanger.
So here it is on little Ada. I understand now why AG put Addy in pink. It's simple gorgeous on her. This was always my favourite dress of hers.
Here are the soft leather boots. So cute and well fitting.
The buttons aren't working, but I am honestly a little relieved that they aren't, I've got a love/hate relationship with working buttons on AG clothing right now.
Isn't she so cute?

~PHOTO-SHOOT~
My big old tweetie still trying to help a little too much with my photography, my chickens are my greatest audience. =)
Shadows and laces.

Pumpkins!

I hope you enjoyed seeing the pictures of the outfit. What's your opinion, do you like Addy's PC or BF outfit better?
More posts later on.
Don't let Monday get you down!
