Blueberries trip to Mississippi, June 2015 with Kit and Ruthie (Countdown Until Lu's Return Day: 9 Post: 5)

Hullo Everyone! Ania here today for another Summer Countdown post until Lu, Saige and Minnie Kit get home from their trip. Today's post is from last year in June (as you probably gathered from the title).
Lu was going to the country again, because it was blueberry season (which it is again) and she took Kit and Ruthie.
Aren't they so cute?
This is often how Lu travels with us dollies. She puts everything in this bag, and then sets us in.
Her outfit consists of:
Souvenir jeans from AGP Chicago (2015)
Saige's Tunic outfit top,
Saige's meet boots.
Kit's outfit:
My Special Occasion dress (Kanani's)
A blue coconut dog bow, Lu's sis bought many many years ago
And she's also got on my sandals from the same outfit.
BFFs and Sisters forever.

After that, Lu got Ruthie outside to go pick some berries.

Snack time, Ruthie had chips (Or crisps).

Well that is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed, comment down below if you have ever picked fresh blueberries! We're so close to the return of the girls, everyone in the dollhouse is getting excited, (And for good reason.) Who knew two weeks could drag by so quickly?
New post up day after tomorrow!

Oh goody, goody, it's recital time again! (May-2016)

Hullo out there! How's everyone doing? I've officially been on Summer break for three weeks. And have been working on scheduled posts for this summer, and procrastinating, as usual.
Nearly a month ago, Jess and I had our music recital for the year. This year I continued in violin (my third year), and Jess began Cello. I wanted to share the few pictures and video clips that Mum captured with all of you. I hope you enjoy. <3
But first, google made this collage from two years ago, pictures from one of my first recitals.

Now, onto the recital's pictures.

Can we just take a second to appreciate Bren's face?
"Simple Gifts"
(There's supposed to be a video, but Google didn't feel like cooperating. So we have a picture)
"Will Ye No Come Back Again."
And then I had my solo, "The Ashokan Farewell."

Two crazies, Granddaddy and Cate.
Then we got chocolate custard from a local shop.

Kit also got dressed up for the recital, in her retired recital outfit that I got for Christmas.
Unfortunately, I had to leave her home, but her sisters tell me it was a lovely show.

Well, that is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed these quick pictures. I had a lot of fun continuing my study in music with my amazing teacher, and it was great to play with my sister again, (Even if we always mess up when we play together.) I'll see if I can get a video up on my channel from it with the clips, if so, I'll put the link at the bottom of this post.
New post soon!
Do you play an instrument?

The Last Rose of Summer--Marie

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF AUTUMN!!!!!!
ahem, sorry. Welcome Fall! Anywho, these pictures were taken in the later part of August, I hope you enjoy!

selfie.

then the chickens ambushed.

The Last Rose of Summer, is a poem that was written in 1805. It was later put to music, I couldn't find the date of when. But anyway, you have been warned it is sad and a little depressing. But here it is.

'Tis the last rose of summer left blooming alone
All her lovely companions are faded and gone
No flower of her kindred, no rosebud is nigh
To reflect back her blushes and give sigh for sigh

I'll not leave thee, thou lone one, to pine on the stem
Since the lovely are sleeping, go sleep thou with them
Thus kindly I scatter thy leaves o'er the bed
Where thy mates of the garden lie scentless and dead

So soon may I follow when friendships decay
And from love's shining circle the gems drop away
When true hearts lie withered and fond ones are flown
Oh who would inhabit this bleak world alone?
This bleak world alone

What do you think? Have you heard it before?
School is keeping me pretty busy, our doll school posts seem to just keep getting pushed behind everything else. There are more posts on their way.
Thanks for stopping by!
Go play in the leaves and take pictures!
