A Tag or Two For Me and You (Tagged by Evangeline, Period Drama and Sunshine Blogger)

Well hullo dear chums,
it's been awhile since I've done one of these posts, not because I haven't been tagged--simply because I'm lazy, and tags are a lotta work. But I thought I might as well do this one, well, two, and maybe there will be more in the future. Enjoy!

Period Drama Tag I was tagged by Evangeline:
1. Which period drama do you like most?
A: Probably Northanger Abbey, but it's a hard decision.
2. Choose four characters from a period drama that you like most.
A: That I like most or that I am most like?
AnnE Shirley
Catherine Morland
Amy Dorrit
Marguerite St. Just

3. Which period drama have you recently seen that you recommend to other bloggers?
A: The only one I can think of right now is Roan Inish
4. If you had to choose, which period drama heroine do you like best?
A: Aghhhh, no make me choose.

5. And which period drama hero?
A: HENRY TILNEY. Cough, but also GILBERTTTT, can I get a mix over here, please?

6. Have you ever seen a movie who was exactly, or mostly, the same as the book?
A: Anne of Green Gables?

7. Which movies do you like most, Jane Austen's movies(example:Emma), Dickens movies(example:Little Dorrit) or the movies from the Brontë sisters(example:Jane Eyre)?
A: Probably Jane's, although sometimes I get in a Dickens or Bronte mood.

8. Would you rather play Emma in Emma, Lizzy in Pride and Prejudice, Catherine in Northanger Abbey, Mary in Downton Abbey, Marian in Robin Hood, Amy in Little Dorrit, or Jane in Jane Eyre?
A: Aghhhhhh, erm, okay Lu, you have to chose...gosh. I want to play Amy, Jane, Catherine and Emma, all for different reasons...I can't pick. Comment below which you think I'd be best as. :)

9. Would you rather have Call the Midwife or Cranford?
A: I've only seen Cranford, so yes.
10. Which period drama that you haven't seen yet would you like to see?
A: ooh, there are lots!

11. Which adaption of Sense and Sensibility do you like most: 1995 or 2008?
A: They're both good, I like the '08 one more for aesthetics, and the other for story--but I'm not sure.

12. And which adaption of Pride and Prejudice do you like most: 1995 or 2005?
A: As P&P, '95, but '05 is a really good movie for just being a movie.

13. Which couple from a period drama movie do you like most?
A: tsk tsk asking me to pick favourites again. Probably Catherine and Henry to be honest. Although Charles and Lucy--

What we have learned in this tag: Lu is dreadful at making up her mind, but I'm sure you already knew that!
I tag Melody Silverleaf and Jess. If you choose to do this, just answer the questions I did above! :)

The Sunshine Blogger Award:
Evangeline's Questions were:
Q1: What's the furthest you've ever been on holiday?
A: To California
Q2: Where would your dream holiday be?
A: Ireland, England, or Canada
Q3: Do you like scary movies?
A: Well--it depends how you define 'scary'
Q4: What's your favourite Milkshake flavour?
A: I am dairy intolerant, but before I realised that I was, it would have been a cookie shake (back before I was GF) or a chocolate shake.
Q5; Have you ever been in a newspaper?
A: Oui! When I was a child.
Q6: How long can you balance on one foot?
A: I'm not too sure.
Q7: Who was better, the Beatles or Elvis Presley?
A: I'm not a terribly big fan of either, I like songs from both? I don't want to say one or the other for fear of friends disowning me.
Q8: What's your favourite type of foreign food?
A: Hard question, I like lots of foods from different places.

That was fun, thank you Evie. Now your turn! My questions for Emery & Jess to answer are:
Q1: What's your favourite colour to wear when you're having a comfy day?
Q2: A book everyone should read?
Q3: Most listened to song currently?
Q4: If you could be one animal for a day...
Q5: Favourite tea blend?
Q6: Favourite social media?
Q7: Most worn pair of shoes?
Q8: You can go to NY for one day, you get tickets to one show and credit for one store, where are you going? and what show will you see? (it doesn't matter if it's currently running or not)

Thanks for stopping by! Would you enjoy seeing more tags in the future?

  2. I LOVE NORTHANGER ABBEY BEST TOO! Henry is my favourriittte Austen guy, and probably my top period drama guy too. I think you'd be best as Catherine... But you'd be good at the others too, I think.
Great post, I hope you do more tags! I really enjoyed this one.

    1. Thanks Rachel!
I loved NA because it was so different from all of Austen's other works, plus it was her earliest written, I think that adds charm to it.
