this and that catch up.

Hullo girls! another post today, sorry if it's a bit long.
I wanted to show you my newest Regency dress! it could be worn as a day dress or ball-gown...I'm going to try it out at our monthly dance this Friday.

Jess took a small photo shoot with her doll Lizzy a couple days ago,

saige and I did a photoshoot out by the pool yesterday...i think ;) it's not the best but i was lacking inspiration!

she forgot her towel! such a good sister Ruthie brought it to her.

random pic,

and today! I had a couple good finds, we found this pack of twenty mini plastic cups, at Walmart for two dollars.

a bit to big for them to hold, but still a good find.

and I found these at Goodwill for 59 cents... any ideas for a craft? I'm sure y'all can come up with something!
 thanks for stopping in!
Lu~
(BTW! We still don't know what's in the box...but there has been a lot of whispering around here...

  1. Cool! And you could make a mini snowman with the foam balls: ;D And I LOVE that photoshoot, Lu! One of your best I think! Your pool is a wonderful background for that.

  2. Hi Lainley! I'm Hayley, and I saw your blog post re-blogged by Catie Dunlap. I'm doing a play set during the Romantic period (a.k.a. Jane Austen novel period). I've been trying to figure out costumes with the director, since we need to figure out a dress similar to the Regency dress you showed on this post. Did you find it online or at a store somewhere? Or did you make it?

    Thanks!

    1. My Mum made it for me... My sister Catie, would be glad to chat with you if you have any questions! she knows more about it than I do.

  3. I have a set of the red cups and found a set of clear at the local Dollar Tree (they had tropical colored ones recently, but I didn't think I need that many doll cups).

Both photo shoots are very cute. I like how Ruthie brought out the towel.
