We finished putting the first wave of herbs and a few veggies in the garden boxes this afternoon moments before the first afternoon thunderstorms of the summer moved in from the south. The good soaking and the break from the intense sun will give the plants a solid start (I hope! ). Glad the rains are coming our way again.
Cool! It rains all year here, except for summer. Seems like we have almost opposite weather, we really only get thunder around early fall.
