I have noticed over the past few years that generally, my favourite dollie photo-shoots are ones with flowers, adventures (educational, or not), props, or in doll-rooms. With that in mind, I'm still trying to find the best way to light my dollhouse so that it is practical to take pictures in there. This is another attempt, and I think they came out 6/10, which means I'm getting better. I hope you enjoy this quick tour of one of the doll-bedrooms. :)
Overview. Grace-Ellen, and Ada-Freya share this room. It's at the top left corner of my dollhouse-closet.
Here we have a little dollhouse shelf that we found at Target for 3$ last autumn, everything on the shelf are just various finds from over the years to reflect the two different girls' personality. =)
Behind their bed hangs a piece of Scrapbook paper that I found at Hobby Lobby for 2$, next to it hangs their calendar, and a place to write little notes and reminders for each other. Here we have a peter-pan figurine, Blue bottle, cinderella magnet, green garden gnome, Grace's mini meet book, and a friendship polaroid.
Next to Ada's side of the bed, we have a pink-heart-backpack, and on the wall hangs a poster.
"Where should we go next?"#Cutie. =)
Pillow fight!
Thank you for following us along on this little tour. I hope it maybe inspired you. Do any of your dolls share a room? Which state do you want to mark off of your wandering list next?

So pretty! I wish I could put little things in my doll room, but I've got a little sister who LOVES eating the little itty bitty things. :) Hey, do you know where you got Grace's pajamas, by chance? I have the same pair from a friend and I can't figure out where it's from! All of my dolls share the same room. :) It's big, though. It'd be fun to go to Hawaii!

Oh dear! I bet that is a struggle, I'm the youngest sister in my family so I never really had that issue, except for my little brother, but he's older now. One day you will be able to have little things! =) Grace's pjs are actually my sister's, but they came from AG back in 2009, I think. So they're retired. Hawaii would be fun!

So many cute goodies, I love looking for dollhouse stuff! Which state do I want to add next...hmmm...that's really tough. I'd have to say one of the southern states--Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina or Louisiana. I need to do a grand tour of the south! (We've hit North Carolina, Virginia and Florida already.)
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting choice! If you like a lot of heat, then the south can be interesting, there's a lot of history down here. But summers are miserable, and they last until late autumn, and start mid spring. I hope you can visit some day!
