Hullo everyone! It's time for another doll birthday party--this time it's Kanani's turn! =) We went with a jumble of classic, flowers, and fandomy like things. Enjoy!
Her cake is a brownie that I made in a special pan, and then sprinkled powdered sugar on top of.
She's wearing a blue dress from Toys-R-Us, and her hair bow came from JCPenny's on clearance.
(I'm sorry the lighting is so strange, the sun decided to disappear, so I had to use a lamp, because my camera battery was dying.

The first thing she opened was a bathing suit.
Next she received this pair of little hedgehog babies.

~Review~
Calico Critters are roughly 40% off on clearance at my local Michael's, I've been looking for an excuse to pick these cuties up, and today proved to be that excuse. They're super cute and soft.
The swimsuit was held in place with these little plastic things you had to cut. I'm glad human ones aren't packaged like that, imagine how itchy it would be!

Happy birthday, Kanani! THat swimsuit is such a pretty color, and are you sure you won't share your brownie cake? That photoshoot is lovely, and CALICO CRITTERS! I've always wanted to find some on clearance (ahem, for my sister of course.. not for me... not at all, of course not...) but they never go on clearance here. :(

Fabulous photo shoot! Even with the funky indoor lighting, you rose above. The hedgehogs are ADORABLE! The suit is cute too. Very well done; looks like a great party.

ReplyDeleteI'll be honest, I've been waiting for a reason to pick up that swimsuit, and since my dolls only other is Samantha's PC one, (Which is cute, but a little confining for a modern girl) I thought it was a good time to go ahead and do it. Plus, with a coupon, it was fairly affordable.
